Quick and easy DIY P221 and P222
Just putting this here for people who might search for this in the future. I bent up my own out of some 1/8" welding rod. Took minutes, and cost pennies!
Project Heavy Metal - an all steel classic, remastered On my SC motor the #3 rod was happy enough to rest against the oil pump so no 222 required there.     Since I didn't have a helper (or a third hand) I used a bit of wooden dowel as a lifting handle for the #1 and #2 rods.

I used bent coat hangers; not pretty but got me where I needed to be. Johnny 042's are nicer!

I hope the picture is just a 'poser' shot of your crank in the case for us to see.
I don't see any assembly lube or a nose bearing installed.
