Opinions on these cylinders...
Hey guys, I just bought a set of p/c's for a buddy of mine but they don't look to good to me. They were sold to me as excellent usable p/c's but most of the cylinders have grooves running up the cylinder, and one has many grooves near the top. (Not talking about the cross-hatching) These are pretty deep scratches that you can feel them with your fingernail. Can these be repaired or should I just attempt to return them?

I wouldn't use them. I suppose you could use them as cores if you were going to have them replated.

Yep, if you can feel grooves with your fingernail, they're toast.
