Before I pull the trigger on these pistons.(They will split them)Need assurance,Ive got this right.I noticed this in listing Note: Cylinders include Patrick Motorsports machine operations to groove for ce rings.Not sure if this will be an issue?

We have 1978 ROW 3.0SC.
Later 3.0 cylinders bored to 98mm & replated.
964 cam profile.
Supertech head bolts.
Glen Yee oil pump refurb.
SSI
standard valve springs.
Please bear in mind pump gas in UK.is higher octane.Will be using standard CIS will update fuel metering if required., & recurved distributor.

Bruce,I was basically asking if these parts and build were congruent.:).Ie will it all work together.Ive since changed supplier to EBS.Had a chat with Don.Plus saved some money!
It would appear that Patrick motorsports cut a gasket groove in cylinders.as per original SC Spec.Yet gaskets arent unsed in usual 3.2ss builds in that location.

Cutting 3.0 CE ring in the 98 mm bore is a bad idea.
The inner section of the liner becomes too thin.
That is one reason why we made our cylinders 97mm.

Thanks for that Henry. Why would you alter a brand new cylinder like that?
Was tempted to use your option.Only thing that changed was acess to some european 95mm 3.0 later cylinders.Being in UK, I have to consider shipping and customs duties.
I paid another $120 on shipped price, when I purchased Head studs from you.They get us, every way they can.The pistons I ordered from EBS,are available in Europe.However they are $700 more.So item from 5000 miles away, costs less than same from 200 miles away.Go figure.
