Bruce,I was basically asking if these parts and build were congruent..Ie will it all work together.Ive since changed supplier to EBS.Had a chat with Don.Plus saved some money!
It would appear that Patrick motorsports cut a gasket groove in cylinders.as per original SC Spec.Yet gaskets arent unsed in usual 3.2ss builds in that location.

Cutting 3.0 CE ring in the 98 mm bore is a bad idea.
The inner section of the liner becomes too thin.
That is one reason why we made our cylinders 97mm.

Remanufactured 911SC 3.1L pistons & cylinders

Our kit also includes an option for 964 cams. In stock and ready to ship.

Thanks for that Henry. Why would you alter a brand new cylinder like that?
Was tempted to use your option.Only thing that changed was acess to some european 95mm 3.0 later cylinders.Being in UK, I have to consider shipping and customs duties.
I paid another $120 on shipped price, when I purchased Head studs from you. They get us, every way they can.The pistons I ordered from EBS,are available in Europe. However they are $700 more.So item from 5000 miles away, costs less than same from 200 miles away.Go figure.
