looking for recommendation mid-atlantic engine repair shop

1970 911E 2.2 mfi engine.
The car sat for a few years without running.
Had fuel tank, elect fuel pump, injectors and mfi pump cleaned/rebuilt and reinstalled.
Struggled to get engine to run, smoking bad.
Dark oil dripping from exhaust.
Compression poor on #1 and #4 cylinders.
Looking for mid-atlantic located engine repair shop that can fix my engine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Any willingness to ship the engine or car or does it all need to be close or at least within reasonable driving distance?

If Will Pyle at Fairwinds in Bear is still available, he always helped me with the learning curve in the early 80s.

At this point, I'm looking for a place within reasonable driving distance of the eastern shore of Maryland/Delaware where I can have the car hauled/towed in on a rollback. I'm open for suggestions.

I've used Provost on a number occasions, but never for a major engine repair. They did replace the torque converter seal and oil lines on my Sporto and welded in trailing arm balls and WEVO RARB consoles so that I could install a RARB. (The welding should've been a DIY job; my dad was an underwater welder in the Navy but sadly I never learned how to weld myself. But I digress.) They're very track-oriented but work on a lot of street-driven cars as well. Another bonus is that they're not far from Dan Petchel's shop so if you have targa troubles you could get those addressed in one fell swoop.

A lot of local guys have been making the trip to RS Werks; they also have a very good rep but I don't have firsthand knowledge.

Thanks for the help.
I'm still tinkering, adjusting, assessing current condition of engine and mfi fuel system.
Need to determine how deep the water is before I jump in.

Dave Bergman is a super talented dude. He did an engine out and trans rebuild / mod on my 930. It never ran so good. Dave can build engines and one of the coolest R Gruppe (real) '72 about. Plus he is honest, which means a good value.

+1 on Will. They just did my 540i clutch. Good work at a fair price.

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions.

The "mechanic" at European Coach Werkes in Frankford, DE whom I hired last year to help get my engine up an running again did such a poor job, the engine wouldn't run longer than 15 to 30 seconds. MFI pump adjustments were so out of wack, raw fuel mixed with accumulated exhaust soot was dripping out of the exhaust. The "mechanic" thought it was old oil! And his diagnosis of very low compression on #1 and #4 cylinders was also fake news, I can only guess his compression gauge was defective.
I removed and cleaned exhaust components, and started from scratch with setting up, then slowly adjusting the mfi fuel settings. After much "trial and error" the engine is running again.
After I finish making other repairs to hand throttle, replacing shifting bushings, and eliminating a few electrical issues, I'll take it out for a longer test run.

Peter Dawe is a couple hours away from you but certainly can handle the job.
