Outdated Loctite 574?

Just pulled the crank girdle back off of my 944's block (more work needed) - having torqued and sealed it down with Loctite 574 about ten days ago. The Loctite in the "sealing" area is still tacky - whereas I'd expect it to have set up fairly shortly after I'd torqued it down.

So I'm thinking the 574 might be out of date...but cannot find the nine digit date code on the container (usual small red plastic bottle with accordion bellows to dispense).

At any rate...any further info about how to determine if my 574 is no longer effective would be most appreciated. Thanks!

It's anaerobic, so if it's not exposed to air, it should harden if it's good. I recall the first time I used it, I was curious so I put some on the threads of a nut and screwed a bolt into it. By the next morning it had hardened. 10 days is more than enough for it to do its job.
