height group questions

hi
I have a set of cylinders that are a height group of six,
One cylinder is out of spec, and I have a brand new cylinder to replace it, but the height group is 5. can i shim this to match the sixes?
My rebuild book says group 5 is 82.000-82.225 and
6 is 82.225-82.250.
Does anyone know how thick the copper base gasket is?
Or any advice? This is my first 911 engine rebuild
thanks
