http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1606398943.jpg Hello to this wonderful knowledge base and Happy Thanksgiving...2 pics show oil crossover pipe I have put on my SC motor after installing SSI's Where/what does the little bracket with hole in it attach to....? Thanks for the help... |
Put your tin on and you'll figure it out ;)

Aftermarket oil pipes fit poorly. After you get it off the stand the pipe can easily be bent into place.
It mounts via a 6mm bolt to the sheet metal where the front and side piece meet. |
Thank you both...that was quite the "A-ha.." moment..the sheet metal has been off this motor since last February, and i completely forgot about it...I'm glad i brought it up here.

To be redundant, I had to massage both the pipe during engine install and the flange/bracket. You'll see when you get there. If memory serves, I wouldn't even bother to attach the bracket until trying to connect the pipe.
It's a common complaint. |
