Air filters for High butterfly injection
We just finished another set of stacks for high butterfly inject that incorporate air filters.
This set was built to the customers color specification. I'm liking the look. We can also use the more conventional filter if that look suits the customers taste. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1607613537.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1607613537.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1607613537.JPGhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1607613800.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1607613800.JPG |
I'm in love!! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/face80.gif
But I can't afford the size of diamond ring, such a beautiful lady "requires".... ;) |
Do you also make the "body"... and the hardware?

Is there a solution for 2.4/2.7RS plastic stacks?

They have issues that we fix in house and make them as near to factory as possible. |
Here are a couple of plastic stacks modified for ITG air filters installed on an engine.
This is a 3.0 short stroke (66x98) we built for a 914/6 GT. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1611145658.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1611145658.jpghttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1611145914.jpg |
I really think this will be my absolute favorite combination of all time! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/pray.gif
I simply love high butterfly intake manifolds! But the color of the stacks, the shape of the filters ... it all fits so well! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/blush.gif http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1611424498.jpg |
Just like the Sliders I posted in another thread, these high butterflies have issues as delivered. After we acquired these throttles from MFI Solutions, we did an evaluation and discovered the issues. These are very nice assemblies but they just need a little schmoozing. I have them on a couple of our builds and have enhanced some for other shops. After our re-manufacturing process, they are pretty close to perfect.
Jeff or Alan at Aase Motors is building the engine. Maybe if we're lucky he'll post some pictures of the completed project. 2.8 short stroke built on an SC engine case. We used a 9 bolt Supertec SuperCrank to accomplish the desired specs 66x95. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1611426541.jpg |
