Air filters for High butterfly injection

We just finished another set of stacks for high butterfly inject that incorporate air filters.
This set was built to the customers color specification. I'm liking the look.

We can also use the more conventional filter if that look suits the customers taste.

Is there a solution for 2.4/2.7RS plastic stacks?

There is but it can be a little ugly. By ugly I mean not the perfect solution but it works and looks OK. The issue if I remember correctly was clearance for the altitude compensator. The notch on the plate suggests one possible solution.

Here's a prototype that was sitting upstairs.

The High butterfly throttle bodies are manufactured by/for Mittelmotors in Germany.
They have issues that we fix in house and make them as near to factory as possible.

Here are a couple of plastic stacks modified for ITG air filters installed on an engine.
This is a 3.0 short stroke (66x98) we built for a 914/6 GT.

I really think this will be my absolute favorite combination of all time!
I simply love high butterfly intake manifolds!
But the color of the stacks, the shape of the filters ... it all fits so well!

Just like the Sliders I posted in another thread, these high butterflies have issues as delivered. After we acquired these throttles from MFI Solutions, we did an evaluation and discovered the issues. These are very nice assemblies but they just need a little schmoozing. I have them on a couple of our builds and have enhanced some for other shops. After our re-manufacturing process, they are pretty close to perfect.
Jeff or Alan at Aase Motors is building the engine. Maybe if we're lucky he'll post some pictures of the completed project.

2.8 short stroke built on an SC engine case. We used a 9 bolt Supertec SuperCrank to accomplish the desired specs 66x95.
