Weber idle jet holder differences - big head with oring or little head no oring best?
I am trying to determine if the thinner headed idle jet holder without o-ring can be used on all Webers? Or can the newer idle jet holder with o-ring be used on all webers? Or do I have to use the right one depending on weather the Weber is older or newer? I have a very rich idling 2.2S and I currently have the thick head with no o-ring so I know I am wrong and just want to see if one or the other is universal or can both work if I add the or-ring. I have both options.
thanks again Marlin Posted in 2013 by Paul Abbot 1QuickS 1QuickS is offline Registered 1QuickS's Avatar Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 1,290 If you have early IDAs then the idle jet holder does not use an o-ring; later Webers have o-rings. If you have a later style idle jet holder and are using it in an earlier Weber then the idle jet won't seat properly and will allow ultra rich idling. Upper jet holder is the o-ring type. picture showed a thick head idle jet holder that gets oring and the thin head with no oring for older Webers. __________________ Paul Abbott Performance Oriented
