I have rebuilt the 3.2L engine in my 1986 911 Cabriolet. The engine is in the car and I am up to hooking up the emission and vacuum hoses. There are a couple hoses I can not see where they go, the large vacuum hose for the speed control and another hose, 3/8 diameter about 15 inches long with a few molded bends which is open on both ends. I cannot find a diagram for hose routing in the Bently service manual or the engine rebuild books. Is there anywhere I could get a diagram showing the hose routing?
Thanks Roydog |

The engine lid should have the Vehicle Emission Control Information label. This is from my 87.
![]() The following 86 PET Illustrations have the vacuum line routing. 107-00 L-Jetronic I 107-05 L-Jetronic II 107-10 L-Jetronic III 907-00 Cruise Control For the cruise (speed) control, I believe the large hose vents to atmosphere and the smaller one connects to a "T" by the brake vacuum booster line. See Cruise Control Vacuum Line. I think the other hose you are describing is 930-207-236-00 item 28 on Illustration 107-00. It runs between the throttle body and air valve. |
