Can you put intermediate / distr gear on GT3 crank

Thinking of next rev of my motor and was wondering if you can put the intermediate shaft gear w distributor gear on a GT3 crank?

One less thing I'd need to change if I can keep the twin plug dizzy.

You can with some simple machine work. I'm not at the shop so I can't remember the exact process but it can be done.

TTT - any details? Looking at this and want to understand what I need to ask of machinist, if anything?

I think it's pretty simple. In the GT3 application it has a spacer instead of a distributor drive gear.

Note the 959 part number!!! Also the 901 part numbers in there, too.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1645490685.jpg

Interesting. I've heard that it drops right in but have also heard from others there is some machining required - just want to get the final answer ;)
