10 year restoration nearing completion (short video)

After many years the renovation is almost to a point where the car is ready for the road. Very excited to say the least!

Engine started and next step is to dial it in on the dyno. It’s a bit on the loud side but the sound is not bad. Will have to work on bringing down the dB later

Very short video here (my iPhone is not great for video, sorry for the poor sound quality): https://youtube.com/shorts/lix686ceoB0?feature=share

Thanks!

The block is from an SC, so the small fan
12-1 compression
Twin-plug
Homemade camshafts
Some lighter parts used in the valve train
Stock conrods (regret not switching to lighter ones but funds were low at that point)
Weber 46 carbs
Homemade exhaust with Burns collectors

Curious to see the power curves once on the dyno

Whose fan shroud are you using? I ordered one from Series 900 in October and I'm still waiting on it. Damon doesn't return calls or email; since I have no written contract with him I'm ready to cancel and get one from Rothsport.

We had a local guy draw up the cam curve. Went and got a rod of steel. Then went to a local shop who turned and ground it for us

The shroud and “tin” comes from EBS in the UK. Super happy with it!

Be prepared that all these types of products need fettling with when installing. Some more some less. These weren’t too bad in my opinion
