Whats best distributor for 2.5
Guys
I am building a 2.5 with DC30 cams and Italian Webers . Whats best approach for Distributor? Thanks for advice/recommendations Frank |
123 distributor
123 ignition USA .com |
Icarp
Thanks but staying more old school Researched and read but not interested Appreciate the suggestion tho Thanks Frank |
If not 123, another good choice is Supertec distributor that I think Aaron Burnham designed? Research those threads here; good design and old school. I am assuming you’re doing 2.5 twin plug but believe they have single plug too.
Choice for twin plug after 123 and Supertec would be JB racing twin plug which performs good but lacks the old school look of Supertec one. |
Thanks for options …..will reach out to Henry and Aaron

To my surprise…..Seems i am starting to be swayed to 123 ignition .
Seems Henry has some positive thoughts as well Looks like they have now packaged the ignition, coil, wire set and spark plugs. Described to be for 2.4,2.7 engines. Assume all to be compatible rather than worrying about compatibility of mixing original components. Has anyone used their integrated package? |
123 also have a twin plug distributor .. seems to only appear on their German website ..

I picked mine up a few months ago (on a 20 or 25 percent off coupon) although the engine is still being built so I don’t have any additional feedback. Stretch |
this is where Differs got my full set up when restoring my car - Differs in NL (former twinspark)
