Head conversion for Carbs

I'm rebuilding my 2.2. I have a set of heads from an MFI motor. I need to remove the injector sleeves/receptacles from the intake ports. How do I do that and what do I use to plug the holes as I'm planning on re-installing my webers.

MFI injectors are screwed in place. After removal, install plugs which you can get from PMO.

However, it sounds like you may have some CIS heads which have the sleeves and friction-fit injectors. You can cut some threads and install a plug or read what others suggest. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Not sure these heads are compatible with your cylinders. Do you have B. Anderson's book to refer to?

Sherwood, Thanks. I do have Bruce's book, I'll look again but I couldn't find anything particularly refering to these heads. They are exactly the same as the old heads that came off the motor. The combustion chamber, cylinder recess etc are the same. The sleeves have rubber bushings in them. Do they sound like CIS. These heads are 1972 vintage. I assumed they where MFI
