Henry...sir...you are a wonder and really appreciate your input into these threads. Your real world advice is priceless - as are some of your peers who also take up their valuable time to contribute to us mere mortals.

So, dumb question from a dumb Dutchman.

I am undertaking my engine build shortly, I was of the theory that being a neurotic, paranoid, close to obsessive-compulsive and finicky guy who reads obsessively that I could seal 100% of my builds, that being exactly 1 build.

Is my theory flawed or is my theory plausible.

FYI - my build is a brand new engine case, brand new crankshaft, new Mahle P/C's, rebuilt heads, cam towers rebuilt by Ollies, Carillo rods - 3.4 litre.
