Jabate,
What's the difference between the peak corrected figures and the non-corrected figures? Also is "ecm" the exhaust Lambda reading? Thanks! |

The second and third columns are not corrected numbers but are engine torque and horse power recorded on an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno.

The ecm is an exhaust Lamda reading, correct.

Corrected torque is corrected for atmospheric conditions on both torque and hp
The barometric standard is corrected for the conditions of the day. |

Peter,
I mis read your question then realized what you were asking. The idea is to adjust the dyno results for the atmospheric conditions of the day using an SAE standard. So that the results are relevant for comparison to results obtained on days with different atmospheric conditions |

I shared the dyno numbers and engine specs w/John D, cam grinder. His reaction. 100hp/liter. Cam kinda small. Could use a little more intake lobe. I like higher compression (engine already has) if looking to push peak hp up. So we can add more duration w/o killing mid range.
DC65/110 will be better from 5,000 on up w/little or no loss below |

The lambda is a little richer than I'd expect (.77 is mid 11's AFR). Is that on purpose?

I will ask Paul Hasselgren of Hasselgren Engineering, Berkley, Ca, for an answer on the Lambda question. He tested and formatted the engine management system on his dyno. He should be in on Monday

Talked to Paul re ECU reading on print out.
Paul said 1. Intentionally ran richer to keep engine cooler at high rpm. 2. Print out is from Lamda sensor placed in muffler can and has slightly higher readings than the two Lamda sensors placed in right and left header pipe connected directly to Motec, which constantly adjust the AFR |

This is the motor that Porsche should have made.
What is the bore and stroke? Is it using 3.6 heads? Found this article. https://www.enginelabs.com/news/polopolus-engines-deconstructing-the-flat-six/#:~:text=The%20%E2%80%9CPolo%E2%80%9D%20motor%20as %20it%20has%20been%20dubbed,is%20a%204-cylinder%2C%20horizontally-opposed%2C%20overhead%20cam%2C%2016-valve%20engine.

Bore is 102mm. Stroke is:76.4mm
Heads are Xtreme Cylinder Head Castings, as sold for 964/993 with Xtreme Cylinder Head improved intake/exhaust port design |
