2.2S+ Webers jettings
Hi to all, i have a set of 85mm (2.2) 10.5:1 comp ratio pistons that ill be fitting into bored to 85mm Biral 2.2E sleeves along S-cams, Webers and 914/6 headers.
My questions are: 1) main jets? 2) idle jets? 3) venturies? 4) emulsion? 5) What specs vs stock 9.8:1 MFI 2.2S? 6) Who sells that stuff? PMO? Thanks!

Here's a thread that has a whole lot of information on the affects of different jetting on a number of configurations, some of which are similar to what you are describing.

Your setup sounds very similiar to mine. Check out this thread
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/110785-approaching-zen-2-2t-s-carb-tuning-question.html#post831811 Here is the main info: I have Webers with: 1) main jets? 130 at first but now 125 and this was an improvement. 2) idle jets? 60 now. I tried 65 but they were to rich. 3) venturies? 30mm now but I plan to try 32's soon 4) emulsion? f1 5) What specs vs stock 9.8:1 MFI 2.2S? cannot give any specifics at this time. I plan to put the car on a dyno in the next month or twol 6) Who sells that stuff? PMO? PMO or Pierce Manifolds. I am running Nippondenso W24ESR-U plugs. The motor is a 2.2T with S pistons (I think), S cams, and ported T heads. Let me know what you end up settling on for jetting. I would like to compare notes.

You're running a twin-plug system, right? Otherwise, you will probably have trouble...

Im wondering that without twin plugs. What makes this set up a problem?

I am curious as well. I do not have a twin plug motor either and it seems to run ok. Is the twin plug required when you are higher than stock compression like the 10.5/1 listed in the beginning of this post?

Anything over 10:1 should be twin plugged, otherwise you may have detonation...

Wayne, I think that a single plug and >10:1 CR can work, but you MUST use 100+ octane race fuel. This leads me to another question I'll put on another thread...
