Help separating trans from 2.2

I have a fire damaged 2.2 that is seized, water from fireman in cylinders.

I want to separate the trans because it was fine but I can’t rotate the flywheel to insert bolts and spacers to release clutch bearing. Motor being seized and all.

Is there another way to do this?

Haynes manual says undo the clutch lever screw but no pics to guide me. It doesn’t seem obvious

Grab the clutch lever, pull it so it releases pressure on the t/o bearing, then spin the bearing to release.
