Ratings for case thru bolt O-rings

I'm planning to replace the blue o-rings I have from a Victor Rheims gasket set. The green Viton o-rings seem to be favored in most of the forum posts. The Pelican parts catalog shows 4 different o-rings and the green viton has the lowest rating.

green viton dph 3 star rating
red silicone Porsche 5 star rating
blue fluorosilicone Victor Rheims 4 star rating
red silicone OEM 4 star rating

What gives??? Does anyone know how the ratings are derived for the PP catalog?

This is a good question I assumed it was based off of customer reviews.

I have used the 3 popular o-rings (green viton, blue VR, and red from Porsche). I found the red Porsche ones to be a little too big so they can squish out easily. The blue ones also seem to squish out more often. I have not had a problem with the green so they are my go to.

I used the same lube on all and that has been my result

Not all "green" Viton is equal.
I get all my gaskets, seals and o-rings from Charlie @ Wrightwood Racing.
In some instances, I just trust the guys who are smarter than me. Charlie is flat out obsessive about getting the best he can find.

Listen to Henry. if Wrightwood sells it, it works.
