Carrera Tensioner Questions

What oil pressure should the popit vent on the top of the reservoir lift at? One of mine vents at 10psi and the second at 5psi. Tensioners when full are firm to compress as they both bleed down slow. Both have an initial (compressed) spring force of about 35-40 lbs and decrease to about 12lbs when fully extended. I measured piston force with a load cell. Restrictor / check at bottom of cylinder seem to be good as they work as dampers and slowly bleed down. I have flushed them via an oil can but I am concerned I have an issue as the chain box on passenger side makes a rattling sound when starting from warm condition. Pistons are not overly extended but did not measure extension. Oil is 10-60 and 1984 3.2 has cam box oil restrictors installed.
