3D Printable Intake Port Covers – Keep Your Engine Clean During Assembly
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share a simple but useful tool I designed for anyone working on Porsche engines. These are **3D printable intake port covers** that help keep debris, tools, or unwanted objects from falling into the intake ports during engine assembly. They're easy to print and fit snugly into the intake openings. A quick print and you’ll have peace of mind while the engine is sitting on the stand or waiting for final assembly. I’m sharing the file for free so others can benefit. You can download it here: https://www.printables.com/model/1270272-3d-printable-intake-port-covers-keep-your-engine-c As always, feedback is welcome, and if anyone needs a version for different intake dimensions, I’d be happy to adjust the file. – Lubing http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1745084308.jpg |
Or you could just use the cap/plug method available on Amazon with free shipping.
These work for intake and exhaust, oil cooler inlet, case to oil tank fitting and so much more. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1745090197.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1745090197.jpg |
