Slight Gear Shift Delay After Installing New Clutch Plates – Normal Break-In?

Just installed new Motorcycle Clutch Plates last weekend. The engagement feels better, but there’s still a slight delay when shifting gears. Is that normal during the break-in period or should I be concerned?

A slight delay in gear shifting after installing new clutch plates can be normal during the break-in period. It usually improves after 100-200 km of riding. Make sure the clutch cable has proper free play, you're using the right oil, and the shift linkage is tight. If the issue worsens or you notice slipping, get it re-checked.
