What’s the spec on that engine you supplied Henry ?
Do you have records on the build you can share ?
It sounds like heaven …..

Sorry to say, I did not build the engine for this car or this owner, so I have no idea which engine this is. Of course we built it but it was/is not uncommon for us to build engines for shops who don't even credit the build to Supertec. Having built well over 400 air-cooled Porsche engine, it's hard to even nail down an approximate time frame. If the owner has the name of the original costumer's name or build sheet I could confirm the spec.

Edit: I can say it was probably 18-20 years ago. I am surprised that it wasn't equipped with our cold start enrichment device. We've been supplying the enrichment devices for 25+ year in with none stop development, so if it had one installed that would also help identify the approximate year.

This short stroke 3.2 was built in 2017 for Scott Longballa.
Note the enrichment device and aluminum fan center. These fan center were incorporated in most of our high RPM engines of that era.
The stacks were modified to use PMO 50mm velocity stacks. This allowed us to bore the magnesium MFI stacks from 42 to 50mm.
This engine also used the Supertec/Burnham distributor like the engine in the video. Note the Supertec fuel lines as well.

Many of the development items on these engines were proto-typed on a first 2.8 short stroke built for spirited street driving. You might recognize this engine from the cover of Wayne's first book.

Ben M. from M&K made a rather interesting exhaust for this project. It's always fun looking through old history.

Henry
I stumbled across some info on the engine when you originally built it in December 2007 , or more likely Jan-feb 2008 . (Ref: ph-3.0)
Originally it was equipped with your old fart enrichment device .
