Cam tower oil line restriictors

I noticed that the restrictor holes differ on these two. It’s a slight difference. Anyone know if this is normal? Left or right sides? Either way. Will this small difference matter?

Thanks

I think the machined groove around the body of the hex part, suggests these are the smaller orifice items.. but seems someone drilled out one to be larger.. My OCD would want them to be the same size on left and right.. not sure if that is the right answer though.

If you do a search on restrictors, you'll see differing opinions on the right ID for them. Some like bigger, some like smaller. Possibly depending on intended use. I've not heard about different IDs on left vs. right though.

Garage
They should both be the same.
I believe the 965 control valve (left one) was too small. We always make our own but if we come across the factory 965, we drill it out. I can't remember the actual size but halfway between the factory original and the 965 is where we've landed. 5.5mm?

My old notes show 240'' for NA engines and 165'' for the 965. During a period when I was breaking motors and was looking everywhere for relief on a low oil pressure issue. A track car and I settled on the 165'' restrictors and over the past 4 years have experienced no ill effects for the cam, rockers or valve train. Maybe for a street motor you want the 240'' version.
