Need a new engine

We had a bad day at the track this past week. My sons new to him 06' 997 Carrera S threw a rod on the track. Wasnt watching the guages like he should have been. Guess is, it overheated and kept going until the bearings gave up. Looking for recomendations for sourcing a good used 3.8 and a good shop to help us with the project. Thanks!
