Who makes 100MM P&C???
And more importantly, how much do they cost.
I would be interested in 100mm P&C to increase the displacement of my 3.0 SC. I would want Nickasil cylinders and a ratio around 10.5:1. How much am I looking at in machine costs to make them fix? Thanks,

Mahle might make a set for this size, or someone can have the 98s bored out, and you can use JE 100 pistons...

Wayne, what is your opinion of Mahle -vs- JE?
I would assume that the bored, seasoned cylinders would be less prone to distort but after seeing how well my Mahles have help up after 130K miles I'm starting to wonder if it really matters. |

Both are good - JE has made strides in the recent past. Given the choice where both are equal cost? I would go with the time-tested Mahles. That is what I am using on my short stroke 3.2. Recoated 3.2 cylinders with JE pistons (without core cylinders) would have run about $400 less than my cost on the 3.2 RSR pistons. I went with the Mahles...

I'm glad someone asked the question. I was playing with the idea of 100mm P&C but will probably stick to the 98mm for my project. EBS quoted me $2645 for the replated cylinders and JE pistons. Wayne, have you been able to locate another set of RSR P&C in that ball park?
