Cam repair
What options do I have with my SC cams that appear to have some pitting on the exhaust side (only one cam). I think it was caused by moisture on them, but not sure.
Money IS an object as we found them when the car was in getting a bunch of other work done. Thanks in advance,

A regrind may remove all the material in question.

Chris,
No; Castrol GTX, I always have (after talking to two mechanics), but I can't say for the PO. By the looks of the oxidization/corrosion I would think the Cam would have had to be sitting for quite a while with moisture on it. I hope it wasn't me and these Canadian garage winters. It's being taken out and sent to a shop for a quote to weld/grind. Collective finger cross here X

Yup, a regrind is your only option. If you put them back in as-is, the wear will only accelerate and get worse (it's eaten through the hardened layer)...

Is it worth considering the 964 re-profile? or others?
Thanks in advance,

Sure, the 954 profile combined with higher compression JE pistons is a great upgrade...
