Cam Line "Adapter" No fitting? Wayne? JW?

Another helpful Pelicaner supplied me with the part # for the right-side cam line for early cars with pressure fed tensioners. I ordered one from our host, and was surprised to note that there was no compression fitting or threaded fitting with which to fasten the line to the case. Thinking this was a manufacturing defect, I ordered another one from Pelican after discussing it with customer service. The other one came in the same way! Unless there is a bad batch of parts, which I guess is entirely possible, I think it is more likely that I am an idiot and am missing something here. How do I attach this line??? Note the photo below: there's a regular left-side line with associated fittings at the top. The two lines below those are the two special early-car lines. I'm going crazy here...

well, they usually do come on the line, but the nut and ferrule are available seperately. tightening the nut seats the ferrule onto the line. make sure the line is pushed all the way into the case fitting before tightening . the nut can be salvaged from your old line, or order 900 104 003 02. the ferrule is 900 102 003 02 which may be superceeded to N 020 825 1.

Hey thanks for the quick responses guys, I appreciate it. Called the local wrench with the part #s, he's got 'em on the shelf - says he got a shipment of cam lines a while back that came in the same way, so he ordered a bunch of the spare hardware. Strange, huh?
