Loose spacer on carrera chain tensioner?
I'm putting carrera chain tensioners on a '78 SC. I'm using the aluminum spacers on the idler shaft but the spacer is very loose. The part of the tensioner that goes over the stud is seated completely against the aluminum case where the stud threads in. Is this normal?

Yup, what John said again. Funny, I get this question a lot, despite having put a picture of it somewhere in the Engine Rebuild Book...

Thanks for the help, I posted on the regular forum also since I was sitting here twiddling my thumbs until I got a respose.
Wayne, I looked through your book and I couldn't find info on it being loose. It's all together now.
