Chain Tensioner Kit Manufacturers?

I purchased a Chain tensioner kit off Ebay and saved about $30.00. Upon inspecting the kit, something didn't look right. The joints where the hard tubing meets the rubber portion are not the same as the photos on the Pelican Parts website. Besides that, the oil lines on the right side do not line up correctly.
Are there different manufacturers for the chain tensioner kit?
I am thinking that this ebay kit is a gray market unit from another manfacturer.
Where ever this kit originated, lesson learned here is.... don't buy items off Ebay unless you can verify their authenticity..... : (

As far as I know, there is only one manufacturer of the actual Carrera chain tensioners themselves. I'm sure that there are a bunch of people making the aftermarket hoses and other stuff that you need though...

We sell only Genuine Porsche or German OEM parts...
