P234 flywheel seal tool

Is the P234 tool the correct one for the flywheel seal on a 1995 993 motor - mine looks like it is too small diamter wise to work.

Ok, I get it - I'll stick to using a rubber hammer or the end of a rachet!

It would be better to invest in the flywheel seal removal tool, as this is usually where the problems arise.

John,
What is that thing (what application is it originally intended for)? Or did you make it? Looks like it would work by prying against the crank end? I like it. It would eliminate drilling (metal shavings) into old seal metal and scoring/damaging sealing surface!

It's a rubber seal puller. If Pelican doesn't carry them, you can get one at Snap On for around $12.00: http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/pro_det.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=12192&group_ID=1644&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
