Gunk build-up in 400 miles

Is this too much carbon for an engine with only 400 miles?

Looks like the car was running rich - although your plugs should look the same too.

Yup, broke a stud. See "Dilavar Cautionary Tale" thread. I've already installed steel 993 studs, and got it back toghether this weekend. I started it last night, so I'm back in business now.

So, I'm running too rich then? Smaller main jets?
