heat exchanger swaps

Any simple rules on which heat exchangers will fit which models - maybe a chart or something? In my case, I have a US 2.4L 1972 911T, trying to figure out which ones off of other year 911s will fit and which won't. Thanks Al

For best performance any Heat exchangers from 67-74 will work just fine along with SSI's (don't know which flange you need though). Bursch headers will work but they don't have the thermostat take off that the MFI needs. I know that carrera HE's will fit but it's a real pain and kills performance(don't ask how I know)

I also know of a 1975 2.7 liter engine available, also in need of heat exchangers. I assume the 75 and up are different due to the fuel injection system changes and/or flange changes...?

A 75 2.7 I belive has thermal reactors which is overall a very restrictive system. It would be cheaper/better to go with a set of bursch headers over the 75 exhaust. It's about the worst system out there. It tends to overheat the motors and the flow design is really lousy. It would probably bolt right up but you really don't want it.
