I can state for a fact that the best price and quality come from Pelican. I am a proponent of keeping multiple vendors in my business to keep price and quality in check. Every time I have ordered from Pelican, I got what I needed. When I didn't order from Pelican, I got what I paid for.... which was always less than what I needed and expected.

To make a long story short, I am the Pelican BBS's ranking cheapskate and when I order parts by mail, I order them from Pelican. I don't have the extra time or money necessary to do business with the "cheaper" parts houses.

Agreed with Superman. Pelican delivers quality stuff and prices are fair. Buying cheap tools you get what you pay for.

Now, are you asking about ratchets and sockets and wrenches and hammers? Or are you talking about tools to work on your Porsche?

I am talking about porsche only tools. I am an Attorney who is also a certified welder. I have thousands in tools but need the cam tool, tensioner tool, etc.

Mark, I tend to get along, somehow, without those tools. Tensioners, for example. The pressure-fed ones have a hole in the side. You compress the plunger and stick a nail in that hole. To secure the chain, I use wire.

But as far as prices and service goes, I don't think you're going to find prices that are better, or at least not much better, than Pelican. There is a place in Florida that I have ordered from, but I don't order from them any more. Sending stuff back and forth to Florida because of incorrectly packed orders just takes more time than I have.
