2 QUESTIONS,
1 Swapping a 2.7 with a 3.0 in 76 911, the 14 pin plastic holder on the wiring harness that is on the car broken into 6 pieces, where can I purchase a replacment. 2 I understand that between the 2 years that the pin placement is different, where can I find a wiring diagram for the 14 pin box for 76 and one for 81? Thanks Peter |

I'm still trying to find the part number for that connector. I've gotten half a dozen 14 pin connectors from the dealer and none of them work. If you get the right one let me know.

if the connector/housings are the same shape and have the same pin receiver...you can swap the pins and wires...
There is a thread out there with a list of pin#=fucntion for a 78SC....I saved the picture on the home PC, but I bet if you search for it it'll turn up.... Tim you are SOL for that MFI voodoo crap...but you can modify the 14-pin connector for you use... |

Souk,
I've pulled the part #'s from the archives adn they didn't work. I've tried about everything. I know there out there just can't find 'em. It's not an MFI thing since they're on all the post 70 models. I haven't messed with it about a year since my engine's been dead (SOON!!) edit: but that was back when I had no clue what I was doing so it might be easy to find I was just clueless at the time I attempted it.
