ive bought an engine!!!

i am now the proud owner of a 79 930 3.3 turbo engine in bits with (probably) a f--ked crank.

one problem though.

i bought waynes book last week.

Guess what book comes with the engine deal.........................................

Why do you think the crank is messed up?

The 930 crank is quite a durable thing. Short of a bad journal or a thrown rod its hard to mess one up.

bad journal so the guy says. he reckons it will need a grind. ive spoken to a guy over here who reckons hes only seen a handfull of cranks that need a grind that wern't cracked. whats peoples veiws?
