PET shows no special rod number for 930/66/68 (turbo engine)m so it seems they are the same. PET says 930 102 014 09 crank for 930/20/25/26 (Carrera) and 930 102 014 10 crank for 930/66/68. As far as I know, those last two digits are mostly revision numbers. Drive gear that goes on the crank is different as far as I can see.

Well don't take my word for granted...that's what I could check by peering into PET. I know how you feel, you hear something is the same and you want to know for sure but no one is willing to bet on it. I did the same thing by bying Carrera shafts to use on SC with 930 gearbox. It was a shot in the dark, i only knew that Carrera had same CV diameter as 930 and same hubs as SC. It worked ;-)

This is for 1984. As you can see there are different weight classes for rods but no different rods for 930/Carrera:

Also, note that Wayne sells different cranks for Carrera and 911/911 Turbo: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_enginA_pg3.htm#item9 Do some more research. Cranks are probably the same but one of them might have some extra little locking pin for some dizzy ring gear that isn't the same for Carrera/930.

How about rod/main bearing part #s. Maybe a different number would indicate a larger fillet for the 3.3. I don't know but its worth a shot.

I don't think you are supposed to admit that you have PET. Big brother is always watching... I wish Porsche would sell it, or make a version available. They stopped producing the paper parts and Microfilm version some time ago, so as far as I know, there are no new parts manuals available to the public anymore. I'm glad I get mine while they were still available (Paper that is). JP

As i said before, I'm more or less 100% sure that cranks are identical bore/stroke/bearing-wise. Only thing that differentiates them is "drive gear" numbers (nr. 10 in PET-shot). It might be so that cranks are the same but are supplied with those "drive gear" rings...and depending on which crank you order, you get different gears. Prices are almost indentical too...
