HELP - 3.0 Comnversion Distributor

Hi all,

Is there anyone that can help me with some distributor questions for a 3.0 conversion that is having webers fitted.
If its easier please send a contact number and I will call.

I will soon be doing 2 3.0 conversions into early cars, one motor is a 930/04 and the other a 930/10 (euro 204 bhp)

Both are having webers and one is also having 98mm P&P with S cams.

Books say use the 78/79 type, (did these have a vacuum?) Which distributor can I used ? can you use any of the SC ones and how can I ID them?

What have other people used ? especially on the later 80-83 SCs motors in early cars.

Finally has anyone ever changed the distributor gear on the crank so you can use an earlier distributor?

Thanks
Alan.UK
