906 Camshaft

I am rebuilding my engine in the UK at the moment and struggling to find the torque value for my 906 centre lube cams . I have found the intake valve overlap which is (6.7-6.9) The nut in question is a 41mm .

Any help would be appreciated thanks .

Richard

I thought it was 42 on the nut as it fine thread.
I would lube threads and torque to 75/80 ft#
I recall we sent something out to supertec to have them plug. Cams were actually for RSR

I am away with the forces at the moment and should be back mid March . I seem to recollect that when i got the tool fabricated for the removal it was 41mm .... shouldn't make much difference to the end torque though . I do remember that it was on very tight ... too tight in my imagination and required heat to remove .
Thanks for responding :-)

Remember, cams are castings and will break.
