Valve recommendation for Turbo app?
Hi Gang,
I'm looking at replacing my valves in my Turbo 3.2 (well, 3.3 after the rebuild). Should I go stock, or get some sodium filled units? What options do I have? Thanks in advance

well the long ans is a short one too..of course the sodium ones carry the heat away better. the s.s. are lighter (if I rember right) the s.s. will probly never burn out on ya.....Itis bloody hard to light up s.s. stuff.......the sodium ones may contribute a cooller valve head therfor less chance of sparkknock........these are my opinions...I do valve jobs,,in the end the long ans. is going to be ok no matter what you plop in there.

Yup, I decided to go Sodium Filled ones. Much more expensive, but better for turbo charged applications
 Longevity is # 1

rumour has it that 930 exhaust valves are not going to be made much longer. TRW is apparently dropping them. or so i heard.

are they ones that make them for porsche?...... i got a set from pelican..... little while ago,they did not say of course that dose not mean anything.
I dono why but that trw thing bothers me....I cant be the only dummy that likes sodium

If 930 exhaust valves are going to be discontinued what will us 930 owners do for exhaust valves when we eventually rebuild? Do the SS 3.2 or 3.6 valves match?

I know there are and will be valves available.....might not be quite what you want,probly S.S. and if you pay out $ you can order custom anything ,valves, pistons ect.

I talked to EBS a couple of days ago and they recommended the stock TRW valves. I hadn't heard about TRW dropping them, but that gives me more motivation to get the heads shipped off.
