			Hey Guys,

In Waynes book, it recomends to put the locktite 571 on the right case half after the crank and oil pump/intermediate shaft are installed. In Bruce Andersons book he recomends to put the locktite on the left case half. It seems that it would be easier to locktite the left half due to it having less studs to work around. Is there a reason that one is better than the other? Thanks

Do the side without the perimeter studs for the reason you mention.

I usually put it on the half with the oil pump/layshaft that's bolted to the yoke. (How are you determining left and right? I'm getting dizzy just thinking about it.)

But I've done it either way. Not sure it really matters, so long as you apply it in the right thickness, and don't get it into the wrong spots.
