I know a guy who used to run very successfully in PCA stock (Group G? I beleive) as a Euro-Spec SC. He had the SC CIS Engine with European P&Cs (10.5/1?) and Euro Fuel distributor. He also happened to have a 3.2L crank. He won all the time, I can't believe he never got caught. People were protesting that he didn't have a blower fan on his engine and stupid crap like that. Anyway the thing was fast as hell, considerably quicker than my stock 3.2.

82 911SC engine base, ARP rod bolts, 79 big port heads, 79 big port intake, 98 mm JE piston (9.5 to 1 cr.), Web 20/21 cams, 79 ign. dist, Taylor plug wires, tensioner up-date, 2.7 euro fuel dist, .022 warm-up regulator, SSI heater boxes. This engine is in a 74 911 so the injection was cleaned up to work best with a hand throttle.
No dyno sheet but it runs great.

Hi Henry Schmidt

Nice to meet a great engine specialist...

Is it a 3.2 bore and stroke engine ?, i'd like to perform a few mods : CIS with stock 3.2 crank/piston cylinders, i should probably get the 3.Osc distributor right ?

best regards
Philippe

"Great engine specialist" These are very kind words. Thank you It's nice to meet you.

On our 3.2 CIS engine the bore is 98 and the stroke is 70.4.

If you can get a Euro 3.0 fuel distributor you might be more comfortable.
I have found that the Euro 2.7 fuel seems to flow more fuel. At least more than our US version of the 3.0 fuel dist.
