Head studs and connecting rod bolts 3,2 engine
I am undertaking a full rebuild of my 3,2 engine. I know I have to change the head studs (my head stud has not broken) as a precaution. I have read that you should not use the dilavar studs.
I have been adviced to use the head stud (fully treaded), washer and nuts from a 993 turbo and the connecting rod bolts and nuts from a 964 turbo. Anybody who has any experiences of what to use? |
Supertec Head stud kit. ARP rod nut and bolt kit. Race proven. These are the best way to go.
They are both available though Pelican Parts. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087565325.jpg |
Thank you for your advice.
I found the Supertec Head stud kit, but I was not able to find the ARP rod nut and bolt kit. Do you know the parts #? |
The ARP # is 204-6005. If you can't find them on Pelican Part's give me a call or email.
