SC Wiring Harness Assistance

I picked up a new (factory) wiring harness because mine was shot (82). The one I got was an 81, which I thought would be the same as 82.

Well, now I'm not so sure. The harness I got seems to be missing the fuel injection controls. My 82 appears to be in two parts though so maybe it's suppose to be two parts.

My questions are:
1) Is 81 and 82 wiring harness comparable?
2) Is their two parts to the harness (ignition control and fuel control)?
3) Which color connector goes to the warm up regulator?

This is the last part before I put on the tins, put on the clutch, and fire it up. And I feel like this is going to take me forever to figure out.

Michael

Try contacting Scott Hendrey of Scott's Independent, Anaheim California.
(714) 634-2027

My experience is that he's pretty savvy on harnesses.

Henry, thank you for the offer. I went through Bentley's manual and think I've figured it all out. Only two questions remain:

1) Which connector goes to which? One connector is green, the other is blue. On my CIS, both appear to be blue.
2) On the 15 Degree, which side is ground?

I should really stop trying to figure these things out in the evening when the light isn't good and I'm tired. Was able to find 20 minutes with the book and was able to figure it out.

The blue is for the cold start injector and the green goes on the fuel shut off on the air flow meter.
What is the 15 degree ?

Henry, thank you for the blue and green locations.

The 15 degree that I mentioned is referred to in Bentley's as "Additional 15 degree throttle position switch".

Have a great Holiday.
