circlips not included with Kits?

Can anyone tell me if the circlips for the pistons should have been included in the "engine case essentials super kit" or the engine rebuild hardware superkit". I don't think i ever got any circlips and just noticed know that I am at that stage.

I must be just a couple days ahead of you with my project.

FWIW:
I just reused my old circlips. While I'm not a "pro" 911 rebuilder, I have reused circlips on other engines in the past with satisfactory results.

Build is looking good.

I think a lot of engine builders reuse as long as the clips are good. That being said, I ordered new. It's cheap insurance.

Tim,

Your rebuild looks great. Keep up the good work. I am going to try and post some pics of mine.

If you order new pistons, usually they come with that set. I just installed my new JE Pistons with the JE clips that came with the set. @$%$@!$#%$ clips are a pain in the @$#. The Porsche clips are so much easier to use!!!
