Need 2.7 emissions equipment
Howdy,
Just purchased a well mantained and properly rebuilt 1977 with a 2.7. However, I need some of the emissions parts to pass a visual inspection. They do not need to necessarily work, but I need to install them so they look like they work. Primarily need an air pump and some tubing. The car has a borsche exhaust and header, but I do not think the emissions people really know what the old stock exhaust with thermal equipment should look like, so I am not concerned about that. I also may need to find a used gas canister, but again, this is only a visual inspection and not too concerned they know where to find it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also the car has to pass an idle test only, but I am not worried about that as it is tuned very well and this should not be problem. Just need it to look cramped insied with pump and lots of hoses. |

The idle test will be affected by the fuel mix.
