Rod bolts

I am looking at buying some good rod bolts from ARP. Can I use the 204-6003 bolts for the 2.0 rod in a 2.2 rod?

No, 2.0 and 2.2 rods use different bolts. It seems that no one makes a good aftermarket 2.2 bolt.
I have found that the 935 ty bolts work the best for racing application.

What are the differences between a 2.2 bolt and a 2.7? Or to put it differently, could someone post a picture with one each of the 2.0, 2.2 and 2.7 bolts all lined up next to each other?

are we saying that the only connecting rod bolt option for a 2.2 connecting rod is to use OEM bolts? That ARP and Raceware won't fit?

Are OEM bolts up to scratch for short stroke applications? i.e. over 8000rpm?

Henry, these Ti 935 bolts you mention, do you have a part number/cost?

The 2.2 factory bolts are up to the task. I do prefer to use 928 rod nuts with these stock bolts as an upgrade.

Luke : I don't have a part # on these bolts but you can bet they're pricey.

Duh! It dawned on me that I already had an example of each, so I'll answer my own request. These bolts are from left to right: 2.0, 2.2 and 2.7. It looks like the 2.7's are just a few mm's shorter in length then the 2.2's, but pretty much identical from the wide area on the shank on up.. Anyone have a picture of a 2.2 compared to a 928?
