Help on 3.2 upgrade wiring harness route
I really need help on the route the 3.2 wiring harness takes from the engine to the ECU then to the front fuse panel. I am upgrading a 1976 911 to a 1988 3.2 and do not have access to any later cars to have a look and the manuals don't reference. I have the ECU etc. mounted under the drivers seat as per pictures and I know the connector cable lies beside the left seat rail. The main cable exits the engine compartment by the cruise control servo, behind the left shock brace then ??? to the tunnel or do I drill a hole on the left firewall some where??? Does the portion to the front fuse panel enter the tunnel after the ECU? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures, measures or anything else apprciated. Thanks! Rick

Fellow member Mark A did this same upgrade. It is nicely detailed on his site.
http://www.pelicanparts.com/MotorCity/marcesq1/ The "modifications" page details the electronics.
